THE START
This journey started in 2011/2012 when I had my first daughter. She kicked my butt, like a tornado ripping through a house. My head was spinning + days were a blur, but I was inspired to create. I originally started with baby products + accessories, and that was fun, but I really loved the connection with new parents more, and so a shift was coming…

OUR ANAK
The business shifted to community + connection, over retail + products. The focus was creating a space for mothers to come together; A place + time for mothers to unplug from their regular day to day routine, to take a break, breathe, have a moment just for themselves to reconnect, get grounded + leave feeling inspired.

Small talks, turned into gatherings, which turned into retreats, and in 2020/2021, when the worldwide pandemic happened, I saw how all women were being affected. I also met so many amazing + inspiring women along the way, and so the business naturally shifted again.

OUR BAHAY. WELCOME HOME.
And here we are today with, Bahay; which in my parents’ mother tongue, Tagalog, means, “Our Home”. Today the focus is creating a warm, inviting, inspiring, space + community for ALL women.

I had the honour of meeting so many women along this journey, a mix of mothers, people who weren’t sure yet if they wanted to be mothers, women on their fertility journey, young entrepreneurs, aunties, friends, and more… but the bottom line was, they were all inspiring + amazing, and I want this space to be just that, inspiring + amazing.
